The Floof Spa ("we", "us") is a small dog grooming business based in Herne Bay, Kent, run by Joanne Taylor. This page explains what information we collect when you enquire or book, how it's used, and the rights you have over it under UK GDPR.

What we collect

• Your name and contact details (email, phone where you share it).
• Your dog's name, breed, size, coat condition and any health or behavioural notes you share.
• Appointment dates, service history and any photos shared with consent.
• Anonymous website analytics via Google Analytics (GA4) — page visits, referrers and general device information. No personally identifying information is stored.

How we use it

• To confirm bookings and contact you about your dog's appointments.
• To prepare safely for each groom (coat, behaviour, health notes).
• To send occasional reminders you have opted in to.
• To improve the website through aggregated analytics.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

Contact and booking information is kept for as long as you remain a client, and up to 2 years afterwards so we can answer follow-up questions. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email jo@thefloofspa.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
